Program Description
About This Program
The Kairos Blanket Exercise is an interactive experience that illustrates the historic and contemporary relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. Participants take on the roles of Indigenous peoples. Standing on blankets that represent the land, they walk through pre-contact, treaty-making, colonization and resistance. Registration required. Please bring your own blanket. Presented in partnership with Grande Prairie Aboriginal Circle of Services (GPACOS).
