About This Program
(Update: we are now only running the Giving Trees until Saturday, December 12 due to the provincial order to close public libraries as of December 13.)
The Grande Prairie Public Library is hosting two giving trees again this year to collect unwrapped donations for two local organizations. GPPL will accept donations under the giving trees from Friday, November 20 to Saturday December 12, and then deliver the donations early the following week.
The tree upstairs in the Children's Department is collecting donations for Odyssey House.
Items needed:
- Face care products
- Bath products
- Journals
- Pencil crayons and sketchbooks
- Deodorant
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Lotions
- Cozy socks
- Underwear
- Self-care items
The tree downstairs near the Information Desk is collecting items for Bandaged Paws.
Items needed:
- Durable dog togs
- Puppy food
- Pellet litter
- Kitten food
- Bleach
- Medical gloves
- Laundry detergent
- Pet supplies
