Addiction and the Brain

Timothy Parker, author of "Trapped by the High: What Addiction is and How it Changes the Brain," will be presenting on the biology of addiction. Timothy Parker worked for 37 years as a professor of psychology at the University of Alberta, specializing on biological psychology. In this presentation, Timothy Parker will address questions like: How do cannabis and alcohol compare? Which produces more damage on the brain and why? Why does the brain change as a result of addiction?
