Week Calendar

Join us weekly to garden. Each week will feature a different story, craft, and seed to learn about and plant. Simply take home an instruction sheet and your plant, and watch it grow!

This week’s plant is Cat Grass.

Join us to explore and build things from your imagination! Learn about forces, motion, community, animals, architecture, and machines all through paper and tape projects. Folding techniques and scissors will be used.

These aren’t regular crafts, these are cool crafts. Enjoy exploring new mediums of crafting with other children ages 9 to 12. Each week will be a different creation, so feel free to take part in what suits your creative side best.

Stop by for a story with your child! This week’s book is “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak. This is the perfect way to have some quick fun this afternoon.

Stop by to dig up a dinosaur egg! Tools to open it will be provided and you will be able to take home the tools and the dinosaur you find. One egg per child.

Build with Lego from the large collection here at GPPL this afternoon! If your child loves Lego or is curious about it, this is a great opportunity to let them try it out with other kids their age.

Dig up treasure!

Come listen to stories and have fun digging up jungle treasure. We will be using bins of sand and other dry sensory products for digging. Plus, you can take home any 2 of the objects you find.

Make an egg carton animal! We will use pieces of egg cartons to create small animal faces and decorate them.

Are you ready to play Dungeons and Dragons? Join us for an unforgettable adventure in the Forgotten Realms, Tuesdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We will be using D&D Beyond and Zoom to run the campaign.
