About This Program

We are excited to host Edmonton author Wynne Edwards as she reads her newest children's book Goldie, Dog on the Job! about a service dog in training. Wynne Edwards volunteers with Dogs with Wings Assistance Dog Society, fostering dogs in training for work roles and raising funds for training centres for assistance dogs. 

This free event is for children under 10 and parents, and there is an opportunity to buy two of Edwards' children's books, A Dog for Uncle Peter and Goldie, Dog on the Job! Proceeds from the books help support service dog training centres.

Put your paws together for some special guests. Local service dogs and their handlers will be attending.
