About This Program
Join GPPL in this tie dye walk-through to find out how to make your own tie dyed shirt. We'll be using a tie dye kit, but we'll give you some tips and tricks we've learned along the way to make sure your shirt (or other cloth items) turn out fantastic even if you're using products found around the house!
Since it's Pride Month, use the colours of your favourite flag to get you started on your way to celebrating Pride. We'll be tie dying with a full rainbow.

Additional advice based on the final product:
- Instructions suggest laying down a layer of paper towel to soak up the dye. I'm running low on paper towel so I ignored that step and hoped for the best, but it was good advice.
- Try to make a bigger / more defined heart template. Mine didn't turn out very heart-like and needed the top part to have a deeper cut.
- If you bought a kit there's more than enough dye to do one shirt, so if you love the tie-dye look then you could do multiple items. #squadgoals maybe?
