About This Program

Join us weekly to garden. Each week will feature a different story, craft, and seed to learn about and plant. Simply take home an instruction sheet and your plant, and watch it grow!

This week’s plant is the tomato from NASA's Tomatosphere™. Tomatosphere™ is an award-winning program where children investigate the effects of the space environment on the growth of tomato seeds. Your child will be sent home with a tracking sheet. Each day for 14 days, you will need to record the number of seeds that have germinated. 

On July 29, email Emily your results at srg@gppl.ca and she will return your child's participation certificate to you!
