Join us for a culture bites, a speaker series that showcases the knowledge of cultural organizations in our community. Attend these bite-sized presentations to enjoy refreshments and broaden your horizons.

1918 was a pivotal year for both Canada and GP. The continuing Great War ushered in the New Year and the Spanish Flu closed it out, two events that traumatized a nation and a community. Despite the sad bookends, not all was doom and gloom. Come here Archivist Josephine Sallis share an anecdotal history of Canada and Grande Prairie in 1918  based on records from the South Peace Regional Archives.
