Program Description

About This Program

Join GPPL and the GP Genealogy District Branch for an exhilarating weekend at the 2019 Fall conference "A Workshop for History Enthusiasts". This is an opportunity for family researchers to take their skills to the next level and ramp up energy for next steps in telling the family story. There will be sessions to improve your ability to use the great databases at Ancestry and  FamilySearch, conducting Irish research, learn tactics in finding the origins of your immigrant ancestors, how to access the treasures at Library and Archives Canada, and a report on the growing resources of our South Peace Regional Archives (SPRA).

Speakers

  • Deanna Bullock, Director, Cochrane FHC
  • Lyn Meehan, Professional Genealogist
  • Josephine Sallis, Archivist, South Peace Regional Archives
