Program Description

About This Program

The Blanket Exercise is a teaching tool to share the historic and contemporary relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. It covers over 500 years of history in a participatory workshop. Standing on blankets that represent the land, you'll walk through pre-contact, treaty-making, colonization and resistance. Registration required. Maximum: 30 participants. All attendees must bring a blanket.
