Program Description

About This Program

Join us for a culture bites, a speaker series that showcases the knowledge of cultural organizations in our community. Attend these bite-sized presentations to enjoy refreshments and broaden your horizons.

Correspondence is one of the most endearing links between the past and the present. Long missives between loved ones or angry letters to politicians provide poignant insight into the dreams and tribulations of our ancestors. Postcards are like texts from the past: brief personal notes along with mass produced images or family portraits. Join Archivist Josephine Sallis in a historical exploration of postcards based on the collections of the South Peace Regional Archives.
