Program Description
About This Program
Collaborative Communication offers a practical approach to self-management, listening, understanding others, saying what is important to us, offering feedback, and negotiating. Its versatile and simple framework rooted in an understanding of core motivators. It includes making clear observations, using feelings to identify our needs, and making specific requests rather than demands. In short, we learn to say what is important in a way that makes it more likely for us to get what we value. It also helps us to reduce tension and to connect with what is important to others.
Elke Haggerty will be at GPPL to teach some basic communication skills and techniques during these sessions.
