Program Description

About This Program

The Grande Prairie Public Library offers an exam proctoring service for written and online exams. The guidelines for the Library's service are as follows:

Exam Times
Mondays at 10:00 am
Wednesdays at 10:00 am

Exams are proctored in 3 hour (maximum) sessions.

Library Requirements
A minimum of 1 week advance notice when booking exam recommended.

Student Responsiblility
To be on time. No extensions are given to writing sessions.

Contact GPPL's proctor a minimum of 24 hours in advance of writing if exam needs to be rescheduled.

Photo ID
Pens, pencils and erasers
Calculator as required


Cost (as of January 1, 2022)
$30.00 per exam due at time of booking. Fee includes printing, faxing and normal mailing costs. Special mailing costs will be the responsibility of the student. GPPL's proctor will contact the student if special mailing is required.

No refunds given to students who do not show up for their exams.

Cancellations received one week prior to scheduled date may be refunded less a 5% processing fee.

Bookings of exams may be done in person, by phone (780-357-7467), or through email (exams@gppl.ca) at which time payment is due. Students will be contacted by GPPL's proctor to confirm the exam and to finalize payment.

No food or scented products are permitted in the exam room.
