About This Program
Join Maureen Edomwonyi from the Grande Prairie Intercultural Association once a week to learn the information necessary to integrate and build a successful life in Canada. * FREE TO ATTEND Workshops will cover topics integral to Canadian life, such as Canadian law, education systems and politics, as well as mental health, parenting, cross-cultural parenting and Indigenous Peoples of Canada. The academy will also help you access essential services through referrals to local agencies and support systems. Since integration is a lifelong process, the academy’s services can extend over a length of time, beginning with individuals’ arrival in Canada and carrying over into subsequent years. Attend these sessions to make the most of your new life in Canada! Certificate and package available upon attending all sessions at the end of six weeks.
