About This Program

Join Maureen Edomwonyi from the Grande Prairie Intercultural Association once a week to learn the information necessary to integrate and build a successful life in Canada. * FREE TO ATTEND

Workshops will cover topics integral to Canadian life, such as Canadian law, education systems and politics, as well as mental health, parenting, cross-cultural parenting and Indigenous Peoples of Canada. The academy will also help you access essential services through referrals to local agencies and support systems.

Since integration is a lifelong process, the academy’s services can extend over a length of time, beginning with individuals’ arrival in Canada and carrying over into subsequent years. Attend these sessions to make the most of your new life in Canada!
