About This Program
Join us on the 4th Tuesday of the month for a presentation by Odyssey House in a safe, inclusive environment. The presentation will vary each month.
June's presentation is how to help.
"This FREE one (1) hour session is designed for individuals in leadership, caregiving, or support roles, including staff, managers, educators, and parents who may encounter someone experiencing abuse. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what abuse looks like, how power and control dynamics operate, and how to recognize the warning signs in both victims and abusers. The presentation also addresses common myths and misconceptions, outlines the cycle of abuse, and offers practical guidance on how to respond safely and effectively. Participants will leave with a stronger awareness of how abuse can impact families, workplaces, and communities, as well as strategies to provide informed, compassionate support while maintaining personal and professional boundaries."
