About This Program

Bring your favourite furry friend for a picnic in the park! This will be a 1.5 hour, two-week outdoor series where participants will be encouraged to bring their favourite stuffed animal to hear a story, eat snacks, and do a craft.

Series 1 focuses on the book "Humanimal: Incredible Ways Animals Are Just Like Us!" by Christopher Lloyd. We will explore the complex emotions and behaviours of animals.

Participants will need to attend both sessions (Tuesday, July 5th and Tuesday, July 12th).
