About This Program

Understanding Stress & Anxiety

In the first session of Confront the Discomfort, participants

will deepen their understanding of stress, anxiety, and

the differences and similarities between the two. We will

learn more about the body’s stress response and consider

why it might be helpful to us to understand what is

happening in our bodies when we are stressed or anxious.

We’ll learn practical tools and techniques for grounding

and soothing our nervous system.
